Christians have been praying for God’s blessing and protection upon the people in America for about 500 years.

Our country, the United States of America, was established with a prayerful dependance upon the divine providence of the almighty God.  Prayer for our nation has continued to be a regular practice throughout the centuries; prayers for divine blessing, protection and guidance, and prayers of praise and thanksgiving.

Recognizing the continuing and urgent need for divine providence in the affairs of our nation today, and in the affairs of all peoples of the world, these prayer guides are shared for those who might find them useful in praying for the USA.

May God bless you as you join us and many other Christians in requesting that God will truly bless America in our times!

  1. Deut 8:19 clearly states what God has planned for a nation that turns it’s back on God…”you will surely be destroyed”. Thank you for reminding and encouraging us to pray for the USA and speak truth everyday.

  2. This method gives reminders for prayers throughout the day.
The format is neat and precise.
    Good presentation!

  3. Today my prayer is for the leaders of the nation who are governing by the Constitution that they will find guidance and the will to continue through any opposition. The founding fathers set the example by praying for this nation to always follow the same direction.
I pray for the defeat of those trying to destroy this nation by their own selfishness and ignorance.

  4. Psalm 40:1-4 1 I waited patiently for the Lord; And he inclined and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And he set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord. 4 How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.

  5. As you go on about your day, please remember to pray for both our community and national leaders. Pray that God will lead them in the decisions that they will make. But also remember to pray for family members of troops that were and will be away for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank you for your service. We appreciate it greatly. Psalm 119:105 Says:Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. So what it is saying is that if we follow God, read AND obey his word, he will lead us in the way we should go. We do not want to be a nation that turns it’s back on God. We want to go back to the foundation this country was founded upon.

  6. Thank you for reminding me of how important it is that we all pray for our country. You are appreciated.
